How to use Google Talk from Gmail
If there Yahoo Messenger(YM) from Yahoo there is also a counterpart for Google which is Google Talk. Like with YM, you can make use of Google Talk to chat in text, audio or video. You can either make use of Google Talk from the Gmail screen or through a separate downloaded application which will be explained better here.
